2022 Annual Pike Golf Outing - Beta Phi Chapter

Please join us on the weekend of Saturday, June 11th for a fun-filled event of catching up with old friends, creating new ones, meeting the current brothers of the house, and proving to others how much you have or have not been practicing since last year. The event will include a day of golf, dinner reception at the newly renovated chapter house, and an evening-out at Harry’s Chocolate Shop.

Please feel free to invite your alumni friends and father, brothers and/or sons. Sign-up & payment is only able to be done via Eventbrite. Please email your foursomes directly to Ben Phillips (betaphigolf@gmail.com) and ensure your team pays online. If you do not have a foursome – don’t worry – you are not alone and we will assist in grouping foursomes once registration is complete. Tickets Prices: MUST PAY USING EVENTBRITE BEFORE May 13th for planning purposes to ensure the course is blocked for us.

11am: Registration, free range buckets @ Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex (Lunch is not provided, hit up TripleX before hand!)

12:00 PM: Shotgun start on Champion

6:30 PM: Dinner & Foundation update @ Pike House

9:00 PM: Evening activities @ Harry’s Chocolate Shop

FAQs

1. I would like to help get more Brothers to attend this year. Is there any way I can help?Yes. Please forward the event email, call your brothers, join the facebook group “Purdue Pike Annual Golf Outing”, and suggest your other brothers join as well.

2. What Time should I get to the event?You should plan on arriving at 11am to take advantage of the included range balls that are available before the event starts at noon and check out the pro-shop / have a pre-tee off beverage. We will be starting promptly at 12pm.

3. Where can I spend Friday or Saturday night?There are multiple hotels available on campus - including, Hampton, Hilton, and the Purdue Union. No blocks will be made - book early!

4. I am not interested in playing golf but would like to come for the dinner and evening festivities. Can I do that and what would be the cost? There is a $20 fee for the dinner event. All attendees not playing golf need to pay on the Eventbrite website prior to June 3rd so we can give catering an accurate head count.

5. Can we drink on the course? Yes, as in years past each participant will receive two drink coupons which can be redeemed at the club-house and on the course. Everything after that will be on a cash-basis.

6. I don’t have a foursome but still want to play, is that OK? Yes, the golf Chairman will group you with other brothers in the similar situation (this happens all the time)

7. I know someone who is interested but did not get any information on the event. How can I get him some info? Give them the link to this eventbrite and direct them to the facebook page. .

8. Can I rent clubs at the golf course? Yes, if you plan to rent clubs, please call the course in advance to place a hold on a rental set.
